Additives that perform silently

The IRRH Legacy

Recognized worldwide for their purity, consistency, and performance, our metal stearates are the unseen guardians behind plastics that process smoothly, coatings that stay uniform, cosmetics that feel silky, and foods that remain stable. From PVC pipes that last decades to coatings that resist weathering, from greases that keep machinery running to lotions that glide on skin — our stearates do the heavy lifting quietly, reliably, and consistently. That’s why industries across plastics, coatings, cosmetics, and food trust IRRH stearates as their go-to choice. Because with IRRH, performance isn’t just promised — it’s delivered, every time, everywhere.

Zinc Stearate (ISC Series)

Often called the “king of stearates,” zinc stearate is the most versatile. It works as a release agent in injection molding, a lubricant in PVC, and a matting agent in coatings.

Calcium Stearate (IR & ISC Series)

A backbone additive in plastics, calcium stearate is both an internal and external lubricant. It reduces friction during extrusion, scavenges acids in PVC, and prevents plate-out in compounding.

Magnesium Stearate (IR-300, IR-302)

Known for its anti-blocking and mold-release properties, magnesium stearate is critical in PVC films, pharmaceutical tablets, and cosmetics. It ensures films don’t stick, powders stay free-flowing, and tablets press cleanly — bridging plastics and life sciences.

Barium Stearate (IR-400)

A unique stabilizer used where thermal stability and acid resistance are vital. It finds its place in PVC wire insulation, high-voltage cables, and engineering polymers , extending their life under stress

Lithium Stearate (IR-200)

The preferred thickener for lubricating greases. From automotive bearings to industrial machinery, lithium stearate ensures greases withstand heat and mechanical loads without breaking down.

Sodium Stearate (IR-500)

A versatile additive used as a stabilizer in plastics, thickener in cosmetics, and emulsifier in soaps. It adds body to solid sticks like deodorants and serves as a processing aid in polymers.

Potassium Stearate (IR-561)

The “dual performer” — valuable in cosmetics and food. It acts as an emulsifier in lotions and creams, and as a stabilizer in select food formulations, ensuring consistency and safety.
